They say thumbtack screwed up but I don't believe it. I believe they give you a lower price and then give you an estimate when they arrive that is twice the amount. The lady that called from the company eventually gave me a discounted price but the quote on thumbtack was $100. She said it was thumbtack's fault that they just put random pricing out. She told me that it would be $258 to do our couch which thumbtack quoted is $100. We settled on 150. This rating is purely for the company and not for the contractor. The contractor they hired to do the job didn't excellent job and was kind and very helpful. The company has now made multiple attempts to get me to delete this review. They have tried to offer me partial and full refunds. The companies employees who called me continued to blame thumbtack and not take responsibility for their mistake. A week update:
They called to check in on everything and I had one spot with a lingering odor. They came out and cleaned the spot at no extra charge. Really appreciate it! You guys are rockstars. I wish I can give you a 6th star!
