How it works?
1. Pre-Inspection:
The process typically begins with a visual inspection of the carpet to identify stains, spots, and areas that may require special attention. The type of carpet and any specific cleaning requirements are also noted.
2. Pre-Vacuuming:
Before deep cleaning begins, the carpet is usually vacuumed thoroughly to remove loose dirt, dust, and debris. This step helps improve the effectiveness of the cleaning process.
3. Pre-Treatment:
In many cases, a pre-treatment solution is applied to the carpet. This solution helps break down stubborn stains and soil, making it easier to remove during the cleaning process.
4. Cleaning Method:
Hot Water Extraction: – This is one of the most common carpet cleaning methods. It involves the use of a specialized machine that sprays hot water and a cleaning solution onto the carpet under high pressure. Simultaneously, a powerful vacuum sucks up the water, along with the dissolved dirt and contaminants, into a holding tank. This method thoroughly cleans deep within the carpet fibers.
5. Spot Treatment:
Any remaining stains or spots are treated individually with specialized stain removers during or after the cleaning process.
6. Grooming:
After cleaning, the carpet may be groomed using a brush or rake to restore its appearance and ensure that the fibers are standing upright.
7. Drying:
Depending on the cleaning method used, the carpet may need some time to dry. Hot water extraction can leave the carpet damp, so it’s essential to ensure proper ventilation and airflow in the cleaned area. Fans may be used to expedite the drying process.
8. Final Inspection:
A final inspection is typically conducted to ensure that the carpet is clean, stains are removed, and it meets the customer’s expectations.
