The Cleaning Process
Pre-Inspection:
The cleaning process begins with a thorough inspection of the area rug. This step helps identify any specific issues like stains, spots, or damage that may require special attention.
Dry Soil Removal:
Before any moisture is introduced, dry soil and debris are removed from the rug. This can be done using various methods such as vacuuming, air pulsing, or brushing.
Pre-Treatment:
Depending on the type of rug and any specific stains or soiling, a pre-treatment solution may be applied to loosen dirt and stains. This step is crucial for effective cleaning.
Low Moisture Cleaning:
Specialized low moisture cleaning machines are used to clean the rug. These machines use minimal water or cleaning solution, making them ideal for delicate rugs. The cleaning solution is often applied as a fine mist or foam.
Agitation:
In some cases, gentle agitation may be used to work the cleaning solution into the rug fibers without causing damage. This can be done using brushes or specialized equipment.
Extraction:
A low moisture extraction process is used to remove the loosened dirt, stains, and cleaning solution. This step typically involves the use of specialized equipment designed to extract moisture efficiently.
Spot Treatment:
Any remaining spots or stains are treated individually with appropriate stain removers.

The Drying Process
1.-Blotting:
After cleaning, excess moisture is carefully blotted from the rug using absorbent towels or a specialized extraction tool.
2.-Air Drying:
Low moisture cleaning significantly reduces the amount of water used, but the rug may still be slightly damp. To complete the drying process, the rug is hung or laid flat in a well-ventilated area. Fans or dehumidifiers may be used to expedite the drying process.
3.-Grooming:
Once the rug is completely dry, it is groomed to restore its appearance. This involves brushing or combing the fibers to ensure they lie flat and look their best.
4.-Final Inspection:
A final inspection is performed to ensure that the rug is clean, free from any spots or stains, and has been properly dried.
